Instructions to Publish Free Live Streaming Video From Your Ad Listing
  Broadcast Live From:
  - Smart Phones
  - Camcorders
  - Webcams

Create an account with a video server such as www.Ustream.tv or http://www.justin.tv
  Example, Ustream.tv:

Step 1: Click on the link www.Ustream.tv and create an account.

Figure 1: Registration, click on the Sign Up link on the top of the page. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided.

Step 2: Create a Show Name.

Figure 2: After you create account, on the top of the page click on your user name, click on Dashboard, look to the left and click create new show. Then click on the "Advanced" tab.

Step 3: Paste the Video Embed Code Onto Your Adform.

Figure 3: The Ustream Advanced tab has a few features to review, but most importantly, click on the Embed Code to copy, then paste to your Seeingit.com Adform.

Figure 4: Your Seeingit.com Adform. Paste this code where indicated after your Seeingit.com login "Free Ad With Video." Click the Submit button to complete.

Figure 5: Get the Ustream App for Smart Phones, begin broadcasting live video. Interviews, lunch and dinner features, events and more - From Any Camera! The URL of the video player window is unique to your Ad Listing. Shorten the URL with www.is.gd and insert it into the "Coupon & Promotion Statement" on your Adform. Then submit to publish to Social Media.

How To Stream Standard Quality Streams (Mac & PC)

Step 1: Go to http://www.ustream.tv/login-signup and create an account or log into an existing one.

Step 2: Once logged in, click the green "Broadcast Now" button at the top right of the screen:

Step 3: You should now be at the Ustream broadcaster, which looks like this:

Step 4: Select your Video input source, and Audio input source.

Step 5: Click "Start Broadcast" to start streaming. Hit "Start Record" to have your live broadcast recorded, you will be given an option to save the recording when you click "Stop Record".

Step 6: Click Stop Broadcast when done.

Note: If you want to stream your desktop, you'll need to install software to have that choice in the dropdown list.
Desktop Stream or Demonstration Software (this is not for your web camera - DESKTOP ONLY):
For PC, you can use: VHScreenCap ( http://www.splitmedialabs.com/downloads/VHSC_inst.exe )
For Mac, you can use: Camtwist ( http://allocinit.com/images/b/b6/CamTwist-2.1.dmg )

After installing, reload the broadcaster and choose the appropriate device in the video source dropdown menu.

How To Stream High Quality Streams (PC directions)

Step 1: Go to http://www.ustream.tv/login-signup and create an account or log into an existing one.

Step 2: Download and install Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashmediaserver/flashmediaencoder/ You will be prompted to create a free Adobe login account.

Step 3: Go to http://www.ustream.tv/mybroadcasts and click on the "Advanced" tab. Scroll down until you see:

and click the button to download the file. You will need to remember where you saved the file, saving it on Desktop

Step 4: Start Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder. Go to File -> Open Profile -> and select the XML you downloaded in Step 3.

Step 5: Select your Video input device, and Audio input device.

Step 6: Adjust your input size, output size and bitrates. The default settings are poor quality, make sure to increase both of them.

Step 7: Click Start on Adobe Media Flash Encoder Live.

Step 8: Go back to http://www.ustream.tv and click the green "Broadcast Now" button at the top right of the screen:

Step 9: You should now be at the Ustream broadcaster, which looks like this:

Step 10: Click "Start Broadcast" to start streaming. Hit "Start Record" to have your live broadcast recorded, you will be given an option to save the recording when you click "Stop Record".

Step 11: Click Stop Broadcast when done. Also hit Stop on Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder, and close it.
